This sealed the deal as Hampshire claimed second place and controls sec- ond in points. "I was sending it because I thought it was the last lap," Hampshire said of his pass on McAdoo. "I saw he wasn't go- ing to protect that inside, so I squared it up. But I thought that was the last corner so of course that's what I was going to do." After his eventful heat race with Lawrence, McAdoo round - ed out the podium in third. He found himself locked in a battle with Hampshire early on but Cameron McAdoo rounded out the 250SX West podium.
