E
li Tomac, the reigning champ, bounced back after a few off-week-
ends to take a crucial win over his main championship rival Coo-
per Webb at the Seattle Supercross. With this victory, Monster
Energy Star Racing Yamaha's Tomac not only ties Webb for the points
lead but also ties James Stewart for second on the all-time AMA Su-
percross wins list at 50. With six rounds left to run, things couldn't be
closer at the top with Tomac and Webb sharing the championship lead
at 248 points each. Tomac has six wins to Webb's two. Chase Sexton
is falling off the lead pace a bit after finishing fifth in Seattle. He's now
third, trailing the two riders ahead of him by 22 points.
