For riders who are serious about racing the Yamaha
YZF-R7, Yoshimura has an aluminum subframe kit
that offers a weight savings of more than four pounds
over the stock configuration. It includes an aluminum
tray for mounting the battery so that it and the wiring
harness are protected from tire debris. The kit fits 2022-
23 models and works with the OEM battery
and electronics, and either a Yoshimura
airbox or the stock unit can be used. The
subframe also works with
the popular race
bodywork brands,
including Hotbodies
and Sharkskinz.

Fly Racing's Roamer dry bag is made
from rugged 500D waterproof PVC
and has a wide-mouth opening with
a roll-top closure. A built-in valve-
controlled air-release system helps
reduce bulk when it's closed. It has
D-ring attachment points, two carry
handles, a detachable shoulder strap
