Nothing says Baja 1000 more than a
bottle of fuel strapped to your waist,
an auxiliary fuel tank disguised as a
rear fender, a zip-ty wrapped around
your rear tire and a massive headlight/
number-plate combo. Yamaha YZ490-
mounted Derek Paiement and Kenny
Parry teamed up at the Baja 1000 in
1987 and finished seventh overall.
