cia before taking sole control of
second place and ultimately his
second win of the season, the
last coming at Anaheim 2.
"I just kept pushing because
I've been in that situation so
many times," Sexton said. "Any
-
thing can happen, especially in
lapped traffic, it's not easy. With
how gnarly the whoops were; it's
easy to make mistakes. I wasn't
going to give up and that's the
key."
Unfortunately for Sexton,
the excitement of winning was
suddenly slapped down when
he got word that he had been

Justin Barcia found himself up in the
mix again and ultimately finished
fourth. "In the main event I got off to
about a fourth- or fifth-place start.
I was charging hard and made a
couple mistakes, then rode a little bit
tight after that. I was in fourth getting
close to third but ran out of time and
the race was over."
