over Tomac, 225-222. Unfortu-
nately for Sexton, despite win-
ning in Detroit, he lost ground to

Webb and Tomac due to the
penalty. He is currently all alone
in third with 208 points. Roczen
is fourth with 182 points, just two
ahead of Anderson.
250SX EAST
The front of the 250SX East
field continues to look the same
as Hunter Lawrence has now
led every lap of racing since
Daytona. The Honda HRC rider
is firmly establishing himself at
the man to beat, winning five out
of six rounds this season. Law
-
rence got out to another great
start
and took over the top spot
by the time he took the green
flag. From there on out it was
smoothing sailing yet again as
Lawrence now leads the 250SX
East championship by 35 points.
"One thing that stood out to
me was the lappers," Lawrence
said. "There was a lot of times
where I just shut it down going
into the whoops because there'd
be two guys and you can't tell
where they're going…That was
probably the trickiest thing
about tonight."
Nate Thrasher capitalized on
his competitors' mistakes and
maximized his points situation
with a second-place finish. His
Monster Energy Star Racing Ya-
maha teammate Jordon Smith
failed to
qualify for the main
event after a disastrous night,
earning zero points, while previ-
ous championship rival Max
Anstie only
earned one point
after crashing on the first lap.
Thrasher rode a quiet race in
second and this result boosted
him to second in the overall
