ood fortune finally fell Chase Sexton's way in Detroit,
and ironically it was when the rider who led most of
the main event threw it away, leaving him to inherit
the lead just when it counted. Several times this season,
the Honda HRC Team rider has led the charge, only to fall
victim to his own mistakes, costing him the win. The tables
were turned in Detroit, this time the victim being Red Bull
KTM's Aaron Plessinger, with Sexton cashing in on a heart
-
breaking turn of events less than two laps from the finish.
