In the 250SX East division, Austra-
lian rider Hunter Lawrence is mak-
ing a run at his first Supercross title
and
doing so in convincing fashion.
After winning the heat race, Law-
rence jumped out to an early lead
in the main event.
He led wire-
to-wire for the 21-lap race, which
included a red-flagged restart, and
navigated the tricky ruts along with
unpredictable lappers.
"For those first few laps I'm trying
