race.
A foreign invasion took place
in the 250 Pro class as Canadian
Kade Tinkler-Walker and Austra-
lian Jack Simpson battled for
the top spot on the podium. The
two passed Kai Aiello for the
lead and duked it out for over an
hour. Jake Alvarez, on his FMF
RPM KTM, was one of the few
riders to double a tricky step-
down and found himself on the
podium in third for the first time
this season. Purvines Racing
Yamaha rider Thomas Dunn put
in his best finish of the season
with fourth while Aiello settled
for fifth.
Simpson further extends his
points lead while the second
spot remains a close battle with
multiple riders.
Jason Fichera showed his
motocross skills on the tight
layout and led the Pro-Am race
wire-to-wire, with Mason De
-
cunzo not far behind in second.
When Decunzo is not ripping his
KTM at WORCS, he spends his
time as a mechanic for the BarX
Suzuki Supercross team.
Hayden Florez returned to
the podium in third just over a
minute behind Decunzo.
Tristun Alvarez won the 125
Pro class while battling with
Travis Damon. The two fought a
close battle early on, but Damon
ended up going down and al
-
lowed Alvarez to pull away and
finish on top.
Alvarez's RPM KTM team
-
mate, Kaitlyn Jacobs, claimed
the win in the Pro Women's after
getting the holeshot and the
early lead. She finished two min-
utes up on Lauren Woods and
Jessica Daniel.
