6D's ATS-1R street helmet now comes in a dozen
different colorways, including the pictured Kyle
Wyman replica. The carbon-fiber helmet features
the patented Omni-Directional Suspension
system (ODS), an advanced brain-protection
and impact-management system. ODS utilizes
two liners connected by elastomeric isolation
dampers that allow the inner EPS liner to move
independently from the outer EPP foam layer,
which mitigates rotational forces to the
brain. Due to this unique design, the inner
EPS liner and the chinbar of a crashed
ATS-1R helmet are rebuildable.
