As the fast and technical track
deteriorated, the Red Bull KTM
rider only got better with each
race, going 5-2-1 on the night.
"Honestly, we went the wrong
way with the bike in the first
one," Webb said.
The defining moment came in
race three, as Webb caught up

It's dangerous to let Cooper
Webb smell blood in the water.
Ever since his win in Tampa, the
demeanor from the two-time
champ seems more focused
and more aggressive. He's one

navigating the tricky Arlington

4TH 450SX (8-1-3)
Kawasaki's Jason Anderson nearly
nabbed the final podium position from
Eli Tomac in Arlington. The 2018
Supercross Champion earned two
podiums on the night, including a win
in the second race. But an eighth-place
finish in the opening race after a crash
off the start cost him a shot at the over-
all. "From practice all the way through
the final race tonight, I felt strong on my
bike, and I know we're in a great spot
to contend for wins," said Anderson.
"A small mistake through the first turn
of that first race really cost me in the
overall standings, but I salvaged what I
could and bounced back for race two."

night. He was the top qualifier going
into the evening's program. "In the
races, I had two really good starts,"
he said. "In the first race, I found
myself in second, battling for the lead
the whole time. For the second race, I
went a little bit deep into the first turn
but came out in third. On the opening
lap, another rider made a mistake be-
fore the whoops and we got together,
and we both almost crashed. I lost a
position there. We were riding well,
but these guys are all fast, and it was
