Peters Perfect In New Mexico H obbs, New Mexico served as the battleground for round nine of the 2023 AMA Arenacross Series. Points leader and defending champion Kyle Peters put together another perfect night of racing as he swept both of the Pro mains. The first main event saw Devin Har - riman up front early with another Kyle, Honda-mounted Kyle Bitterman, battling with Peters, as the two made their way to the front. Harriman eventually tucked the front end and fell out of first, giving the two Kyle's their chance to duke it out for the lead. The two Honda riders went at it for the next few laps, putting a number of block-passes on one anoth - er. Peters eventually got the upper hand and went on to take the victory. Main two flipped the running order, which put Peters and Bitterman start - P48 WIND IN THE ing on the back row of the gate. Bitterman got the better start and found himself second by the second turn. Later on during the opening lap, Bitterman tangled with another rider and hit the deck, essentially ending his chance at another podium. Meanwhile, Peters did what he does best and worked his way through into first place after a few hectic opening laps. The number-one claimed an - other win over two stroke- mounted Jared Lesher and Preston Taylor. CN Pro Main 1 1. Kyle Peters (Hon) 2. Kyle Bitterman (Hon) 3. Devin Harriman (KTM) Pro Main 2 1.
