Aaron Plessinger had a solid night, just missing out on the podium. He started in sixth and got around Ken Roczen after a couple of laps for fifth. He moved up another spot when Jason Anderson dropped his bike. From there, Plessinger ran alone, eventually taking the checkers four seconds behind Sexton and another four sec - onds ahead of Anderson, who rounded out the top five. Justin Barcia took sixth, two seconds behind Anderson, after starting the race in 13th. Christian Craig, Joey Savatgy, Colt Nichols and Justin Cooper completed the top 10. 250SX WEST With Oakland being rescheduled during the 250SX East swing, this put the 250SX West racers back in action for one race amid what would've been their mid- season break. Jett Lawrence, RJ Hampshire and Cameron McAdoo found themselves at the front of the field. Current points leader Jett Lawrence has won all but one race so far this season and Oakland was no different. "The main event definitely didn't go like we wanted," said Team Manager Larry Brooks. "Roczen got a decent start, ran fourth for a while, but then dropped back.
