At one point, Tomac had a 6.704-second cushion over Webb, but gave up a chunk of his cushion when he momen - tarily ran off the track, which al- lowed the Red Bull KTM rider to get closer. Tomac got it together and maintained the lead to the finish line, beating Webb by less than a second. "I had a decent gap before I flew off the track," said Tomac. "I thought it was all good up to that point and then it wasn't all good, and Cooper was right on me. It was close." With the win, Tomac extended his lead to seven over Webb. "I needed that rebound," Tomac said. "I just didn't ride like myself at all last week. I knew I could do it and be there and passed him.
