Yamaha's Dylan Ferrandis had to
sit this one out after his crash last
week in Houston, where he suf-
fered a concussion. He's hoping
to be back on the track at the next
round in Oakland.
RECORDS
Eli Tomac currenty sits at the
cusp of tying the all-time wins
records of Ricky Carmichael
and James Stewart. (Carmi-
chael amassed 48, and Stewart
50. Tomac is currently at 47.)
Saturday saw both Stewart and
Carmichael in the booth call-
ing the action in what could've
been a historic race. Of course,
the all-time record still resides
with Jeremy McGrath at 72, and
seems safe, for now.
