At that point, Hawkins tried to get away, but Star Racing Yamaha's newest recruit Daxton Bennick had other ideas. Bennick was on the gas and reeled in Hawkins and then passed the Husqvarna rider FUTURES Anaheim 2 marked the first round of the Supercross Futures program where top amateurs are invited to compete on a real AMA Supercross track in front of a large crowd during the Sat - urday night program. The Anaheim 2 race saw three lead changes during the seven-lap race.
