McAdoo's race as Hampshire
closed the gap and eventually
took the spot away. The num-
ber-48 rider finished third, the
same result
as round one.
"With three laps to go, a very
similar thing happened," McA-
doo said, comparing his race to
Anaheim
1. "I made a pretty big
mistake and got super bad arm
pump, if I'm honest. Arm pump
is pretty foreign to me; it's not
something I struggle with at all,
so it's a frustrating thing. It's on
me, I made the mistake and that's
where it's coming from."
CN
450SX Main (Top 10)
1. Eli Tomac (Yam) 25 Laps
2. Cooper Webb (KTM) +01.148
3. Justin Barcia (GG) +10.251
Hampshire admitted he ex-
perienced a big midweek crash
that rang
his bell.
"I was, like 'Okay, third is all
I've got tonight.' " Hampshire
added. "Then I started clicking
them off, hitting that outside
after the long rhythm, and was
able to push the two, three, two
and was making up time."
McAdoo is consistent but not
happy with another third-place
result. The lone Pro Circuit Ka
-
wasaki rider started up front in
second
and seemed to be clos-
ing in on Lawrence during the
race's
midpoint. Lawrence even-
tually inched away as McAdoo
struggled to
navigate through
the lapped traffic. Lappers and
late-race mistakes unraveled
