Webb in the thick of the title
hunt. He is only six points back
from Tomac.
"It [the bike] seems to be
working really well, especially
today with it being a bit tighter,"
Webb said. "I feel good with it.
It's turning well, and I'm able
of the race. Cooper is obviously
gelling with his Red Bull KTM

MUSQUIN NO-SHOW
Red Bull KTM's Marvin Musquin
did not suit up for the San Diego
race. The veteran racer took a
tumble while practicing during
the week in California, injuring his
wrist. It is not yet known how long
he might be out of action.
MOOKIE FEVER
Malcolm Stewart was on a roll
all day Saturday in San Diego,
making up for his A1 crash. The
Husqvarna rider, "Mookie," set the
fastest qualifying lap and then
won his heat race in front of a
roaring crowd. Unfortunately, two
crashes in the main event hurt
Mookie's overall result. He'll be a
definite threat if he can stay off
the ground.
THE TWEET HEARD
'ROUND THE WORLD
Jason Anderson and Justin Barcia
came together during their heat
race, ultimately putting Barcia on
the ground. The two exchanged
words after the race, with Ander-
son Tweeting about the situation
before the main event. The TV
broadcast noticed it and displayed
the now-deleted Tweet before the
gate drop. Both riders are known
for being aggressive and seemed
to have left the altercation behind
them in San Diego.
