into podium contention and, for most of the race, looked like a distant third. Hampshire then strung together the fastest laps of the race in back-to-back fash- ion and closed the gap to McA- doo. With just three minutes left on the clock, the number 24 executed a pass and held on for his second consecutive second- place finish. Another podium performance puts Hampshire six points down in the points standings. "Once I got into third, Cam ac - tually gapped me a bit," Hamp- shire said. "I had a rough week." on this coast are RJ and Cam- eron… so it's always, like, 'Okay, where are they at on the track?' This week, I could see RJ was a little bit back off the start, but Cameron was right there. It's just going off what I see in those glimpses, like where they are, body attacking."
