"I felt like that [lappers] was what really caused my mistake," said McAdoo. "I didn't execute on navigating through the lap- pers as well as these guys did. I cased that three pretty hard and messed my elbow up a little bit; then my arms got really tight and I pumped up really bad. And that was right when the track really started deteriorating." CN RJ Hampshire beat Lawrence in the heat race, but didn't get a good start in the main. He still took second.
