MIC Announces New Board Members T he ballots for the 2023 Motorcycle Industry Council Board of Directors election have been counted. MIC welcomes the return of Directors Jeff Brown of EagleRider and Tim Calhoun of Tim Calhoun Powersports Consulting and announces the addition of Marc McAllister of Tucker Powersports. McAllister will assume the seat recently vacated by Comoto Holdings' Nicole Allen. "The MIC is where the power- sports industry comes together," McAllister said. "I am joining the board to further strengthen the association and our industry by adding an aftermarket distribu- tor's perspective." CN IN THE WIND P50 AMA Recognizes 2022 AMA Supermoto National Champions T hree riders—Lukas Hoellbacher, Josh Mclean and Jef- frey Panelley—emerged with AMA number-one plates following the conclusion of the AMA Supermoto National Championship Series. With 175 points—51 more than the second position— Hoellbacher won the 2022 AMA Supermoto Open National Championship. Mclean, who also tallied 175 points in his class, claimed the Lites title. In the Amateur class, Panelley won the title by a narrow seven points. "We recognize all the racers who gave it their all and made this season a successful one," said AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant. "A special congratulations to Lukas, Josh and Jeffrey who rose above the rest to be champions." To go along with his Lites number-one plate, Australia native Mclean added to his season with a second-place overall finish in the Open title race. "We actually did it," Mclean said.
