Our final issue of 1972 featured a police-bike comparison, where we
focused on three new breeds of black-and-whites: Moto-Guzzi 850
Eldorado, Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH and Honda 750. These bikes
were taking the place of the old workhorse, the H-D 74 FLH... We showed
our readers how to properly chose "lines" negotiating trails while off-
roading. It was titled: "How to ride trails and enduros for fun and profit."
(The illustrations are priceless) ... We tested Brad Lackey's factory
MX Kawasaki 450 and 250 prototypes... We also "read tested" all the
motorcycle magazines on the newsstands.
