After several years as a factory rider, Walker went
the privateer route and started his own team
riding a Beta and won the 2022 AMA EnduroCross
Championship against a star-studded field that
included Taddy Blazusiak, Trystan Hart, Colton
Haaker and Cody Webb.
fixed, Walker decided to wait
six weeks so he could use his
crutches before getting his
knee operated on, so it turned
into a bit of a long period.
"Obviously, it was quite hard to
rehab two things at once," said
Walker. "One is the top half of
the body, and one is the bot-
tom half. One was on the left
and one was on the right. So, it
was difficult."
Running his own team, Walker
must be resourceful, so he
called on his sponsor Red Bull
for help with his rehab.
"I spent 10 weeks at Red Bull
Walker never led the 2022 AMA
EnduroCross Championship until
the very end when it counted most.
The veteran wrapped up the title at
the final round in Reno.
