SX Global Announces FIM World Supercross Schedule S X Global announced its FIM World Supercross Cham- pionship racing schedule for 2023. The championship will consist of six rounds running through the months of July and November. The races will be held in Austra- lia, the UK, France, Germany, Canada and Southeast Asia. The location of the Asia round has not been finalized yet. The championship will get underway in Villa Park, UK, July 1. Round two will be held at Groupama Stadium in Lyon- Decines, France, July 22; round three, Southeast Asia, Septem- ber 30; round four, Merkur Spiel Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, October 14; round five BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, October 28, and wrapping up at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, November 24-25. The team's 450cc riders are newly signed Christian Craig and returning team rider Malcolm Stewart. Riding 250s will be re- turning riders RJ Hampshire and Jalek Swoll. All four riders will compete in the 2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships, as well as going for the com- bined SuperMo- tocross World Championship. Craig says he's adapting well to his new team. "This is year one on the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team and it's been good so far this preseason," he said. "I moved the whole family to Clermont and started fresh with Aldon. We went straight into bootcamp, and it's been good so far. I'm just learning the bike, learning the program and just trying to build each day and get better. I'm get- ting more familiar with the bike every day and just keep grinding. Other than that, just doing the laps and getting ready for A1, try- ing to be as ready as possible." The team also said it has brought former racer Josh Han- sen on board as a test rider.
