Greenger has announced the Saddleback, a brand-new
electric balance bike for kids. Named after Southern
California's famed motocross track from the '70s and
'80s, this is one of the first from an upcoming 2023
line from Greenger that will include a variety of sizes
and styles of e-bikes, with the goal of getting the
masses on two-wheeled vehicles. Driven by a
quiet 22v 150W hub motor, the Saddleback has
three selectable speed modes, disc brakes and
is available in two sizes: 12 inch or 16 inch. A
200W solar panel for charging it is included.

The VX40 off-road tire from IRC is for
riding in intermediate to hard terrain. The
tire is made with a new rubber compound
and has a tread-block pattern optimized
for an increased contact patch to the
ground for better grip and handling. Two
front (80/100-21 and 90/90-21) and four
rear (110/100-18, 120/90-18, 110/90-
19 and 120/80-19) sizes are currently
available to fit a wide range of off-road
makes and models.
