We were in the Christmas spirit 50 years ago and pictured on the cover
was a motorcyclist with a Christmas tree strapped to the back of his
Yamaha street bike... Inside, we had full coverage of the El Trial de
Espana, which was held at Escape Country MX Park in California. Sammy
Miller took the win, while Mick Andrews had to watch due to injury... We
compared two Yamaha street bikes, the 1973 250cc DS-7 and RD-250...
Many famous racers attended Mark Brelsford Night at the Royal Inn in
San Mateo, California, to celebrate his number-one plate.

Mexico Hare & Hound and the Maurice Kriesberg "King of the Concrete"
