Treacherous half-wet, half-dry conditions
at Phillip Island for WorldSBK showed just
why these guys are the best superbike
racers in the world. In the Superpole race
here, all but two riders went for a wet
front and intermediate rear, but Alvaro
Bautista, who is so far back he's not even
in the shot, put full slicks on and came
past everyone like they were standing
still late in the race to take the win.
