Quarterley's First

AMA Superbike race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car
Course in August of 1993. Just behind them
is Doug Polen (23), who wrapped up the AMA
Superbike Championship that day. Quarterley
surprised everyone by winning the race. It
was arguably the most popular victory of
the season. It was Quarterley's first AMA
Superbike victory after 10 years of trying.
