ergy. But it was a perfect race."
Tomac finished night two with
a third and two second-place
finishes to earn second overall.
A big mistake during the Su-
perpole might've set the tone,
as Tomac applied pressure but
simply couldn't get Roczen in
the main events. Still a stellar
night for the number-three as he
caps off another major race with
a podium finish.
"We enjoy coming over here,"
said Tomac after the race. "We
all love the fans here and it was a
good time."
Brayton again managed to
grab the final podium spot on
race one was his best result of
the night before a fall in race two
set him back.
Night two proved to be the
deciding factor in the overall re-
sults, as Roczen came out firing
and ended up winning all three
main events. The number-94
couldn't put a foot wrong in front
of the 40,000 spectators as he
took the Superpole win and pro-
ceeded to stamp three perfect
races en route to the King of
Paris title in his first appearance.
"Having a clear track definitely
helped," Roczen said. "I pushed
really hard in the beginning and
then tried to conserve some en-
to grab a win in the second race
of the night. The German rider,
still aboard the Genuine Honda
CRF450R, got a poor start in the
final main event which put him fifth
and forced him to come through
the pack. He got close in the
end, matching Tomac's lap times
and eventually finishing second
place. His 3-1-2 scores showed
he meant business and lit a fire for
the second night of racing.
American Justin Brayton
finished third overall on night
one. The Genuine Honda rider
found himself in the mix with 2-7-
4 scores throughout the three
mains. A second to Tomac in
