P98 PRODUCT REVIEW I STANDOUT FEATURE Exceptional footage with an editing platform that's very easy to use. RIDER ANALYSIS The Insta360 is one of the main chal- lengers of the GoPro dominance of the action camera market. It's been around since 2015 and has become known not just for tack-sharp tradi- tional camera footage but the innova- tive 360° view that allows the user to capture angles that would otherwise require multiple cameras and lots of time editing. There are six cameras in the Insta 360 lineup, and we've been testing the One RS for the last few months. The One RS is unique in that it's two cameras in one—you can use the 4K Boost Lens with its half-inch 48MP image sensor that shoots 4K footage at 60 frames per second and massive 48MP stills, or you can do like we've been doing and swap the Boost Lens out for the 360 lens. The 360 lens captures everything in 5.7K and once you're done you head over to the Insta360 Studio desktop app or your phone app (we prefer the desktop app) and choose where you want the camera to be shooting at a given time. LOWDOWN INSTA360 ONE RS ACTION T he Insta360 One RS action camera captures 360-degree and wide-angle shots for both 4K 60fps video and 48MP still photography. It comes with an invisible selfie stick for third-person view. It's waterproof and built to take a beating. (Above) It's amazing what this little thing can capture. (Opposite) The Insta360 Studio 2022 desktop app is easy to use and you can create some stunning images.
