ever, '19 class champ Gauthier
had other plans.
Gauthier charged his way to the
lead, reeling in and then overhaul-
ing Kopp with just over a minute
remaining on the clock. He then
had to do so all over again after a
red flag stopped the contest mo-
ments later and reverted the order
for the staggered restart.
Undaunted, Gauthier wasted
little time in pulling the feat off
again to score his third win of the
season, finishing just ahead of
Kopp and Gauthier's teammate,
Morgen Mischler.
Those heroics allowed Gauth-
ier to overtake both Mischler
and Esteson Racing Yamaha's
Trevor Brunner in the standings
and end the year as the class
championship runner-up.
PRODUCTION TWINS
While two-time Mission Produc-
tion Twins champ Cory Texter
might have preferred to ride
off into the sunset with a third
class crown, the year ended in
storybook fashion for both him
and his championship foil Jesse
Janisch.

son runner Janisch took com-
plete command of the title fight
by scoring his seventh win of
