unter Bush capped off the
2022 AMA East Hare Scram-
bles Championship with a win
at The Ridge AMA/ECEA Hare
Scrambles in Monticello, New
York, October 1-2. The GasGas
rider battled 2021 Champion
Kyle McDonal and Justin Lafferty
before breaking away and taking
the win with approximately 30
seconds to spare over runner-up
McDonal on the Bromley's Beta.
At one point, Bush, who had
earlier grabbed the holeshot,
was running behind leader
McDonal and KTM rider Neil
Enman. But during lap three of
the six-lap race, Bush fought
back and pushed his Beta to the
front. From lap four on, Bush
never looked back and took the
win over McDonal, while Laf-
ferty nabbed the last spot on the
podium after having a good battle
with Enman.
