Alpha Omega Kawasaki's
Cody Wyman is the 2022 Mo-
toAmerica Junior Cup Champion
after cutting it ultra-fine in race
two at Barber. The third of the
Wyman brothers, Cody finished
eighth in race two behind win-
ner and title rival, Rodio Racing
Kawasaki's Gus Rodio, and tied
on points but won on a count-
back with Wyman's seven wins
to Rodio's three.
Altus Motorsports Kawasaki's
Kayla Yaakov won an enthralling
race one with an audacious last-
lap pass down the back straight,
going from third to first and drag-
ging Joseph LiMandri Jr. (Bauce
Racing/JL62 Team Kawasaki)
to the line by 0.032 seconds.
She almost pulled the same trick
in race two, finishing up 0.015
seconds shy of first place in her
battle with Rodio, who had ear-
lier taken third in race one.
Japan's Ryota Ogiwara (Team
ISO Kawasaki) was third in race
two, 0.321 seconds back.
In the series points, Wyman
and Rodio tied at 285 with Wyman
Kayleigh Buyck held on for the
Royal Enfield BTR win and the
championship.
Hayden Gillim leads the charge
of the Stock 1000 brigade.
