his fourth win of the year. But
this wasn't a given for 17 of the
19 laps, as Ayumu Sasaki (Max
Racing Husqvarna), and to a
lesser extent Dani Holgado (Ajo
KTM) just held on.
In an orderly outing that was
most unlike Moto3, the top
three of Guevara, Sasaki and
Dani Holgado broke clear of
the rest by 3.7 seconds by lap
seven. The reason for the order
up front? Guevara's rhythm
was something the behold. By
lap ten, Holgado had begun to
fade. And Sasaki was just about
holding on. On the final lap, the
Japanese rider knew the leader
wouldn't falter, allowing Guevara
to win by 0.9 seconds with Hol-
gado 6.5 behind in third.
Guevara's (229 points) fourth
win of the year was a crucial
one. Not least because chal-
lengers Sergio Garcia (Aspar
GasGas, 196 points) and Den-
nis Foggia (Leopard Honda, 171
points) were well off the pace,
finishing 13th and 14th, respec-
tively.
