as ever, and they won't be altered
by the fact that our priorities don't
happen to align on this issue."
So, it does appear that Roc-
zen's time with American Honda
and the Honda HRC Team has
come to an end. Roczen has
been with Honda since 2016.
The story gets deeper as he
posted videos this weekend of
him riding a blank Honda at the
Millsaps Training Facility in Cairo,
Georgia. From the looks of it, he'll
be riding for the Genuine Honda
Team (Fire Power Honda) which
is the Factory Honda effort out of
Australia but based at MTF here
in the States. It makes sense for
Roczen to race the familiar Honda
for the upcoming WSX series but
where he lands for the 2023 AMA
circuit is still to be determined.
With Roczen's departure
from Honda, this leaves a seat
open on the team for next year's
Supercross series in the 450cc
class. Who will take that seat
alongside Chase Sexton is
anyone's guess at this point. Jett
Lawrence is expected to move
up to the 450cc class for Honda
in the 2023 outdoor motocross
series.
