out. Josh Hayes (Squid Hunter
Yamaha) turned back the clock
at New Jersey Motorsports Park
taking both race wins, and in
doing so, becoming one of the
most successful riders in the
history of the AMA/MotoAmerica
championship with 86 career
wins, pulling even with old rival
Miguel Duhamel.
Hayes was at his brilliant
best in NJ, taking race one by
4.5 seconds over Josh Herrin
(Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati
NYC), who also created a little
slice of history by taking the 2022
MotoAmerica Supersport Cham-
pionship in a first for both him
