SUPERHARD Episode 5 is LIVE from TKO S omehow, these two fools made it all the way to Tennes- see and convinced the Tennes- see Knockout race organizers to let them compete in the biggest Hard Enduro event in North America. How? Why? What for? It's all really hard to explain. But what we can tell you is we get a first real race test on Sur- ron's all-new Storm Bee full-size electric enduro motorcycle out of their syrup-chugging trip, and we get an entertaining inside look at the hardest hard enduro event of the year. Also, don't forget to drop the key phrase in the You- Tube comments to win big this time. CN IN THE WIND P34 Yamaha MX2 GP Team Announced Y amaha Motor Europe an- nounced its three-rider team that will make up the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 squad in 2023. Jago Geerts, who just missed out on wining the MX2 Cham- pionship last weekend, will be back. This will be the Belgian's last year in the class before mov- ing up to the MXGP ranks for the team in 2024. Thibault Benistant and Rick Elzinga will be Geerts' teammates next year. Benistant is a former EMX125 and 250cc Champion who made his MX2 GP debut this year. His season was disrupted by injury but he did claim a race win and five podium finishes in 2022. He ended the series fifth in the championship. Elzinga has worked his way up through Yamaha's racing program and was this year's EMX250 Champion. "We are happy to extend our deal with Jago and Thibault and to welcome Rick to the Factory team," said Yamaha Motor Europe Off-Road Racing Manager Alex- andre Kowalsi. "All three riders are very talented title contenders. [Benisant and Elzinga] are per- fect examples of how a rider can develop and progress within the Yamaha family. We look forward to celebrating even more achieve- ments in the future." CN Jago Geerts, Thibault Benistant and newcomer Rick Elinga will make up the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 squad in 2023.
