right behind Jett in third in moto
two. A steady 3-3 gave Coo-
per third overall on the day and
fourth in the championship.
"Jo was just on another level,
and we had nothing for him,"
Cooper said of the second

Hunter Lawrence was disap-
pointed missing out on making
it a Lawrence family 1-2 in the
championship. "I'm bummed
with how it ended, but Jett and
Jo rode great," he said. "I've got
to be better."

overall win for the day, with Shi-
moda going 4-1 for second.
"I just wanted to use the least
amount of energy possible to-
day," Jett said. "I got into second
as soon as I could [in moto two]
and tried to catch Jo, but it didn't

little sweeter after an encounter

when it looked like Shimoda had
