Handstands At 100 MPH Returns H andstands At 100 MPH, which celebrates the long history and heritage of motor- cycle racing in the desert, will return after a successful launch last year. The event's founder Scot Harden is joining forces with Johnny Campbell to host this year's event, which will be based out of the Blackmore Ranch in Murrieta, California, Saturday, September 24. There is a full day of activities, special displays and presenta- tions planned all focused on bringing the Baja/Desert motor- cycle racing community together. Displays, presentations, videos, legendary riders, and clubs that lie at the heart of the Baja/Des- ert Racing community will be in attendance. "We want to bring the Baja/ Desert motorcycle racing com- munity together in a way never done before. We want to honor the heritage and legacy of the sport and pay tribute to those who have dedicat- ed their lives to it. Here's your chance to visit with past SCORE/BITD/D- 37/D-38/MRAN and ADRA Champi- ons, friends and associates from the '60's, '70's, '80's, '90's, '00's, and today along with some of the bikes that made history," reads a quote from Johnny and Scot. A Handstands at 100 MPH dual sport ride will be organized separately, but will be a standalone event sched- uled for December 9-10 and staged out of Ocotillo Wells, California.
