he Yamaha YZ450F gets a major
update for 2023. It features an all-
new frame and engine, and a signifi-
cant reduction in overall weight.
Some of the many new engine features
include an updated ECU that now offers
two on-the-fly map settings with three
options of traction control. Yamaha also
revised its Power Tuner App. Yamaha say
the app is more user-friendly and has a
new intuitive "Quick Setting" slide bar and
additional new features.
The cable-actuated clutch is more
compact. Internally, a new disc spring
replaces the previous coil-spring design,
and a new "tri-shaft" transmission
The Yamaha
YZ450F is completely
redesigned for
2023. It's also
five pounds
lighter.
