replicate exactly what he'd ac-
complished at the two previous
rounds, where he swept every
practice and qualifying session,
won his Semi, and dominated
the main event.
However, the Vance & Hines
Harley-Davidson rider's ef-
forts to complete three perfect
weekends in succession came
unraveled halfway into the deci-
sive contest, first when he was
overtaken by the charging Rush
and a short while later when he
also lost a position to title rival
Cory Texter.
Struggling to find grip,
Janisch's fall down the order
didn't end until the final lap, when
he was knocked off the podium
altogether by Competitive Racing

(not pictured) a battle.
Singles points leader Kody Kopp finished
down in the field but still leads comfortably.
