Instead, it proved to be a harbinger of additional precipitation to come, rain that would ultimately force the Mission SuperTwins main event to be red flagged and called complete with less than two full laps in the books. It didn't come as a complete shock; the improved shape of the surface allowed the evening program to race ahead without the need for additional track prep in hopes of beating the weather. And in doing so, the undercard races were run and done without any rain-related drama. But even though the premier-class com- batants lined up immediately following the completion of the support-class action, Mother Nature refused to defer for the additional 10 minutes required to squeeze ROUND 11 / AUGUST 6, 2022 BLACK HILLS SPEEDWAY / RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA P76 FLAT TRACK I PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK >RAIN HALTS SUPERTWINS, BUT SINGLES AND PRODUCTION TWINS GET 'ER DONE RAIN WINS OUT
