Jarvis Rides To Romaniacs Win
G
raham Jarvis made history
by claiming another win at
the notorious Red Bull Roma-
niacs event in Sibiu, Romania.
After five long days and over 21
hours of riding, Jarvis took a
record-setting seventh overall
victory at "the world's toughest
hard-enduro rally."
Jarvis only won two days
of racing, but his consistency
throughout the event allowed
him to win on overall timing and
scoring. It's been five years
since Jarvis won this event, but
the 47-year-old showed he still
has what it takes to run with the
young bucks. The win was Jarvis'
seventh at the Romaniacs.
Bulgaria's Teodor Kabakchiev
was fast in the early stages of
day four but ultimately finished
second overall, eight minutes
and 32 seconds behind Jarvis.
Spain's Mario Roman won
two checkpoints on the final day
but finished 13:26 back in third.
Another consistent podium finish
for Roman sees him retake the
championship points lead from
Billy Bolt, who did not ride due to
an injury.
Manuel Lettenbichler was an-
other front-runner who swapped
wins with Jarvis on days two and
