WORCS Announces 2023 Schedule T he World Off Road Championship Series plans to visit two new track locations in 2023: Delano, California, in February for the second round and then Vernal, Utah, in Sep- tember for round eight. After a two-year absence, Blythe, California's Shorty's MX track is back on the schedule for round four. The Vegas stop is a doubleheader for rounds five and six, and another Memorial Day weekend party is planned for the Cedar City round. Finally, WORCS revealed that there's talk about a new MC 125 Pro class for 2023. CN IN THE WIND P32 The WORCS Series will visit two new venues in 2023. PHOTO: CONNOR MOORE AFT Legends "Meet & Greet" At Sacramento Mile T he upcoming Sacramento Mile on Saturday, August 20, will feature some of the greatest flat track motorcycle riders in history in a special Legends Meet and Greet autograph session set for 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Cal Expo Fair- grounds grandstand area. Scott Parker, the winningest rider in American flat track history, will be on site. Jay Springsteen, Mike Kidd, Bryan Smith, Brad Baker, Joe Kopp, Ronnie Jones, Jim Odom, Eric and Dave Bostrom, Paul Bergstrom, Dennis Kanegae and team owner Gary Rogers are also expected to attend. Former AFT flat track racer Nichole Cheza Mees, wife of six-time SuperTwins champion Mees and the highest placing woman ever in the Super- Twins division, will be greeting the Sacramento Mile fans in the "Legends" event, sponsored by Motion Pro and the "Hot Shoe" Hall of Fame. The "Hot Shoe Hall of Fame," located on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, will also have a special booth for the Legends meeting at Cal Expo with former Speed- way Racing stars Mike Bast, Mike Faria, John Cook and Gene Woods all signing autographs.
