ROUND 10 / JULY 30, 2022 PEORIA MOTORCYCLE CLUB / PEORIA, ILLINOIS P86 FLAT TRACK I FLAT TRACK / PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK AFT Singles 1. Max Whale (KTM) 20 Laps 2. Morgen Mischler (Hon) 0.831 3. Trevor Brunner (Yam) 2.499 4. Kody Kopp (KTM) 3.300 5. Chase Saathoff (Hon) 5.001 6. Ferran Cardus (Hon) 5.001 7. Ryan Wells (Hon) 5.009 8. Daulton Gauthier (Hon) 5.543 9. Chad Cose (Hon) 15.049 10. Justin Jones (Hon) 15.518 AFT Production Twins 1. Jesse Janisch (H-D) 21 laps 2. Johnny Lewis (RE) 1.935 3. Dan Bromley (Yam) 4.649 4. Cory Texter (Yam) 5.455 5. Cole Zabala (Yam) 7.609 6. Billy Ross (H-D) 8.918 7. Nick Armstrong (Yam) 8.966 8. Kasey Sciscoe (Kaw) 12.256 9. Shelby Miller (Kaw) 15.107 10. Brock Schwarzenbacher (Kaw) 15.368 couch in what was originally intended to be a one-off at last year's Peoria TT in place of the injured Dalton Gauthier. While no match for Janisch, Moto Anat- omy X Powered by Royal Enfield's Johnny Lewis was plenty im- pressive in out-dueling last year's winner Dan Bromley on the Mem- phis Shades/Corbin/ Vinson Yamaha to finish as the race's runner-up. Fourth went to G&G Racing Yama- ha's Cory Texter, who, once again, salvaged a decent result by fending off Bromley's teammate Cole Zabala for fourth. As a result, Janisch opened his championship lead but not by all that much, as the two are now separated by 11 points with the season's back stretch straight ahead. CN AFT SuperTwins 1. JD Beach (Yam) 25 Laps 2. Briar Bauman (Ind) 0.492 3. Dallas Daniels (Yam) 5.751 4. Jared Mees (Ind) 8.977 5. Jarod Vanderkooi (Ind) 10.651 6. Henry Wiles (Kaw) 17.848 7. Brandon Robinson (Ind) 18.840 8. Jesse Janisch (H-D) 22.663 9. Ben Lowe (Ind) 23.271 10. Bronson Bauman (H-D) 24 Laps Brunner to third and then made a respectable pursuit of Whale before coming home in second— his first podium in five races after doing so in four of the season's first five events. In fact, Kopp never did get by Brunner, who held on to claim the final spot on the box. For Kopp, his fourth-place finish equaled his worst result of the season. However, even with Mischer's runner-up, Kopp's championship advantage still stands at a mam- moth 50 points (220-170). Mischler's rookie teammate, Chase Saathoff, nipped past Spanish ace Ferran Cardus at the flag to close out the top five. AFT PRODUCTION TWINS Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson's Jesse Janisch was largely expect- ed to dominate the Mission Pro- duction Twins action at the Peoria TT. As it turned out, the only real surprise was just how casually and completely he dominated. A three-time Peoria TT race winner in the Singles class and the current Mission Production Twins Championship leader, the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson runner was clearly in a class of his own. He was basically beyond his rivals' grasp halfway through the opening lap and completely out of sight by the time he capped his victory with a straightaway-length wheelie. The win was a one-year anni- versary celebration of Janisch's return to the sport after Vance & Hines recruited him off the Jesse Janisch rode off with the Production Twins- class win.
