W
inning Washougal is no easy task. While the track is
a fan favorite for its picture-postcard location, many
riders are open about the difficulties it presents on
race day. Shadows, slick spots and braking bumps all play
a factor in the Pacific Northwest. Oh yeah, and the 39 other
riders on the gate present some difficulties, too. A win here
means extra momentum as the series heads into a two-week
break and then a stretch run to the championship finale.
Honda's Chase Sexton and Jett Lawrence weathered the
storms and took their respective overall victories.
Ryan Dungey {5) leads the 450s into turn one.
