MYOWNRACE
third on the last lap. In moto two, I got a
good jump and was in a good posi on to
fight for a podium overall, and a couple
guys went down and had a red flag, so I
had to regroup, and I just didn't get the
jump on the second start that I needed
and had to fight my way up to sixth.
Definitely got some posi ves to take away
for Washougal, and we'll keep figh ng for
that podium."

2ND (3-2) 250MX
"I feel today was a solid day of racing for
second overall," Jo Shimoda said. "In the
first moto, I made quick passes and found
good lines around the track, but I was
in back off the start, so I had to use a lot
of energy to get up to the podium. My
start in moto two was much be er, and
I stayed with the leader. I wish I hadn't
used so much effort in the first race so I
could have fought a li le harder for the
win. Overall, the bike is working awe-
some, and it's great to be consistently
finishing at the front."
Ryan Dungey (5) was
hoping to get on the podium
for the home fans but a top
five would have to suffice.
Jason Anderson
bounced back to
land the third sport
on the podium.
