MV Agusta Release
New RC Models
M
V Agusta has released details on three new
RC models due to arrive in the U.S. by the
end of 2022. The company will produce 200
worldwide units of the new F3 RC, and 300
units each for the Dragster RC SCS and Tur-
ismo Veloce RC SCS, although it has not been
confirmed exactly how many of these bikes will
be coming here.
The $28,498 F3 will get a smattering of
goodies that includes a full titanium Akrapovic
exhaust that MV claims will save a massive 17
pounds over the stock system, helping to bump
power up to a claimed 153 horsepower.
On top of the exhaust, there's the stunning
RC-style red, white and green Italian tri-color
paint job, and CNC-machined aluminum levers
and footpegs.
The $26,398 Dragster RC SCS will also get
a special exhaust, this one coming from com-
mercial partner, SC Project, and there's also a
clear clutch cover.
As for the $27,898 Turismo Veloce RC SCS,
all you'll get is the paint job. The RC SCS already
comes loaded up with features, and being the
SCS model, you get the Rekluse clutch, mean-
ing you don't need to use the clutch lever for
taking off or stopping.

Triumph Finishes
TE-1 Project. And
You Can't Ride It
T
riumph has officially finished the TE-1 electric
project, and you'll never get to ride it.
That's the story that will be heartbreaking to many
fans of the brand around the world as the TE-1 was
never slated for production.
The TE-1 was a design exercise for the company
in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering
from Formula One to show what it can do in terms of
electric motorcycles, not necessarily what it will do.
Rolling with 485 pounds, 175 horsepower and 80 lb-ft
of torque, with a charging time of just 20 minutes from
0-80 percent, the TE-1 will go from zero to 60 mph in
3.6 seconds, and 6.2 seconds from zero to 100 mph.
Current and two-time Daytona 200 Champion
Brandon Paasch got to spin a few laps on the TE-1
at Oulton Park recently.
"The throttle response on the TE-1 is kind of
incredible; it's very torquey and when you first touch
the throttle it's instant power, which is obviously what
I love as a motorcycle racer—I love when it's super-
torquey and picks up right away, so for me it was a
really great experience," said Paasch. "I got to peg
this thing all the way from zero to 100-percent throttle
and it's unbelievably quick, it pulls like crazy."

How cool would this new
Triumph be to ride? We guess
we'll never know.
