at Southwick, the same issue
he struggled with the previous
weekend at RedBud. In both
motos at Southwick, the points
leader had no problems work-
ing his way through the field, but
Tomac was too far out of reach
when he reached second place.
The weight of the red plate is a
real thing and perhaps it's start-
ing to wear on the youngster,
who's never held the points
lead on a 450 until this summer.
Sexton is undoubtedly a fierce
competitor and has what it takes
to run up front with Tomac, as
long as he starts up front. He
still leads the championship by
just one point and will need a
