Tomac couldn't have asked for a better day. Okay, may-
be two holeshots and larger margins of victory would
be nice, but let's not get too greedy. The number-three,
Tomac, has been catching fire lately and he continued
his burn at The Wick 338. A mediocre start to moto
one put him outside the top five, but a midrace charge
saw him clear the top three riders in about a lap and a
half. He set the fastest times of the day every time he

Southwick marked another strong ou ng
for RJ Hampshire who narrowly missed
the podium in moto one. He backed that
up with a fi h in the second moto to earn
a top-five overall. "We made it through
another pre y solid day," he said. "The
first moto, I had good speed and a lapper
stalled in front of me, and I jumped right
into him and lost that podium. Second
moto, I didn't have a good start at all. All-
in-all, we had some progress and a bit of
posi ves today. We're working hard, and
the team is working hard also; we've had
something special here for these last five
or six rounds. We'll take this week to get
healthy again and come out swinging for
Millville."

Levi Kitchen rode phenomenally in moto
two and challenged Je Lawrence for the
first half before finishing second. "In the
first moto, I kind of had to work my way
through from the back a er a few mishaps
but got up to eighth. The second moto was
great, though! I got a good start and made
a quick pass for second. I tried to run with
Je as long as I could and had a few op-
portuni es, but I rode it out and finished
fourth overall."
